The American Creativity Academy is a private school that delivers a standards-based American curriculum within an environment in which Islamic values are respected and practiced. The school is dedicated to preparing students for university success.

The American Creativity Academy (ACA) was founded in 1997 by a group of visionaries who wanted to establish a school in Kuwait which offered a unique blend of an American curriculum while respecting and practicing local values. We are fully accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and by Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. We were authorized to offer the IBDP in 2008. ACA is a growing and mixed physical entity. ACA operates on three separate campuses minutes apart by car two in Hawally and one in Salmiya.
ACA is a premier school within Kuwait and is the largest system of schools in the region with over 5000 students. ACA comprises nine schools on three campuses.
Our Kindergarten departments are co-ed, while our Elementary and Middle/High departments are single gender.
Our students are 100% English Language Learners (ELL) whose first language is Arabic. As a college-preparatory school, all of our graduates are college bound and attend prestigious universities around the world.
The accreditation process has long been recognized in international school circles as a highly effective means of initiating and maintaining school improvement, while adhering to established standards.
The American Creativity Academy was awarded dual re-accreditation status by the Council of International School (CIS) and the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA) in December 2012. ACA was also awarded re-accreditation by IBO in 2015 making it an IB World School.
The Council of International Schools (CIS), registered in the United States and administered by a professional staff in the UK, serves hundreds of schools around the world and has been accrediting schools since 1970.
The Middle States Association (MSA) is an American agency that accredits schools in the mid-Atlantic region of the USA, as well as schools in Asia and the Middle East, that satisfy the guidelines and standards set forth for an American-style educational program.
The International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) is an international agency that accredits schools all over the world to become IB World Schools. As an IB World School, ACA is able to offer high quality programs of education, which support development of knowledgeable and inquiring students.
The fact that a school is accredited provides members of the community with assurances that the school has achieved high standards of professional performance and is committed to school improvement. The accreditation cycle begins with the submission of a one-year report, action plans and evaluation reports, a five-year review and a major ten-year evaluation as part of the on-going nature of the process. ACA and will continue its focus of school improvement through accreditation.
